1. General Information
This policy applies to hearcast.com.tr and its Android application. Hearcast™ is an independent, non-commercial resource providing educational content about Auracast™ and Bluetooth® LE Audio technologies.
2. Data We Collect
Hearcast™ does not collect, store, or process personal data. No account creation, sign-in, or entry of personal information is required. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Firebase are not used.
3. Android App Permissions
- ◉BLUETOOTH_SCAN — Used to passively detect nearby Auracast™ broadcasts. No connection is made to any device.
- ◉BLUETOOTH_CONNECT — Required by the system for BLE scanning on Android 12 and above.
- ◉ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — Required by the operating system for Bluetooth® scanning on Android 12 and above. No location data is recorded or used for any other purpose.
- ◉INTERNET — Used to display the Hearcast™ website within the app.
Scanned broadcast information (broadcast name, signal strength, codec) is processed only momentarily on the device; it is never sent to a server or stored permanently.
4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
User data is not shared with third parties. No advertising network, analytics platform, or social media SDK is used.
5. Children's Privacy
Hearcast™ is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
6. Changes to This Policy
Updates are published on this page, and the "Last updated" date is revised accordingly.
