Why This Site Exists

Auracast™ is a technology that could fundamentally reshape hearing accessibility, yet almost no Turkish-language material exists about it. Hearcast™ was created to fill that gap — a plain-language, non-commercial resource for the curious, for hearing aid users, and for venue operators, built specifically with Turkey in mind.

Hearcast™ is not operated, endorsed, or sponsored by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. It's an independent effort.

Who's Behind This?

I'm Mehmet Saatçıoğlu — an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate of METU, and I've spent the last twenty years of my career in the hearing healthcare industry. The moment I came across Auracast™, I felt it was a genuinely compelling option, both technically and for accessibility. After digging into the technology and the literature around it — with some help from AI along the way — I decided a site like this would be worth building. I'll do my best to keep it going.
