Auracast™ in Turkey

This page tracks the current state of Auracast™-capable devices and their rollout in Turkey. The technology is still at an early stage, so expect this page to grow over time.

The Global Picture

Auracast™ support is spreading fast on the phone side: Samsung brought it to Galaxy devices with One UI 7 and Android 15, while Google's Pixel 9 line goes a step further, letting you join a broadcast just by scanning a QR code.

Hearing aid makers are moving too: ReSound (the Nexia, Vivia, and Savi lines), Starkey, Phonak (Infinio), and Widex (Allure) have all announced or shipped Auracast™ support — some already work out of the box, others are waiting on a firmware update. Venue-side installations are growing worldwide, from theatres and universities to museums and stadiums.

The Situation in Turkey

Adoption in Turkey is still at a very early stage. We don't yet have a single confirmed venue installation we can name — but the phone-side support (Samsung, Pixel) applies just as much to the Turkish market, so the infrastructure on the user's end is already there.

If you've spotted an Auracast™ installation somewhere in Turkey, or have any verifiable information on this, reach us at info@hearcast.com.tr — keeping this page current depends on contributions from the community.

Looking Ahead

As Android-side support spreads beyond Samsung and Google, and more hearing aid manufacturers switch on Auracast™, the user-side infrastructure in Turkey will mature quickly in the coming period. Venue-side adoption, on the other hand, is expected to follow the global trend with something of a lag.
